What is a Griffin?

A Griffin or gryphone is a lengendary creature with the body of a lion and wings & head of an eagle. The Griffin was consider lion king of all beastes. The Griffin was a mythology creature told by man and past down to  writers, story tellers and families.Some say only females have wings.They lay egg's in golden nest and there egg's would resemble of agate. During the middle ages a lot of humens try to search for the Griffin. Because the Griffin would find treasure and store it in there nest.If men did find Griffin egg's they would mount them into golden cups, believing every bevrage would bring health to every bevrage.
